Relay for Life 2007
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
A team from the Banks Curves participated in the event at Neil Armstrong Middle School in Forest Grove together with 42 other teams. The event raised over $70,000 for cancer research. The Banks Curves team raised $4200.
The Tea For Life event was anoter of our fundraiser for the Relay for Life.
The other was the Recipes For Life Cookbook which is still available at the club for $15 per book. The recipes are a compilation of favorites from our members and include appetizers, soups, main courses and deserts plus lots more. Click on the image to to see some of the recipes
